Pillaging Items

I noticed today that although you cannot take land from a mage less than half your power, you can still pillage geld and items from them.  This would probably make it pretty easy to milk.  Also, would it be possible to not allow magical compasses to be taken during pillages?

Hmm.. I don't think so.. Its an item so basically it can be taken away through pillage...
