This means that the geld i receive from my merchant does not add.

It's always been like this, and it's ok. You get the incoming in the report of state, not the one in the renuntio. Incoming in report of state gives you the REAL incoming, with heroes, units, spells and all that stuff. This one also takes into account the extra gold by the merchant. I'm quite sure that merchant is working.
