Multi-Attacks

Why do so many mages multi-attack?  Why do mages multi-attack when they get blocked over and over?  Why must they multi-attack to become Black Listed?

*shakes his head*
It's really a pity.

What does everyone think about this?
Do you get multi-attacked a lot?  Do you multi-attack others a lot?

Seems a bit of a noobish thing IMO.  I personally kill those who multi-attack me, but how do others go about things like this?
