Greetings,

 I strongly believe that the minutes of the server must change cuase thay are too many.If you want a healthy game this is the beswt to do. I can witness ocassions for my guild and allies where people played about a week and then got sick of it because its many turns.

    I won\'t add much here as it is obvious how important this is. The decision is your and of course it will be nice for other to add their opinion here!

i prefer fast games, in slow ones u have only a few minutes of fun every day... with the lord u can stay more time playing for the turns u earn :)

I like the 3 mins.  More turns = More carnage.



There is only one server and it\'s still not 100% perfect... I think the carnage possibilities are the only thing balancing that.





Perhaps if buddy can make this revenue neutral, we can get a second server that\'s a bit slower.

nah, its okay with 3 turns imo  :nop: ... its difficult to learn a new spell, you have to save all the turns you can fomr one day to another, so its okay right now, unless lord_frank thinks he should change it  :cool:

If anything should be changed it should be the Maximum Turn limitation. As of now it sits at 300 but it would be much better to change it to say 500 or something like that rather then slowing the server down. Play the turns like u want, if u can\'t handle so many then just play in small portions.



Like maddcow i too like the carnage that is presented with such a speedy server. It lets me mess up so much and still be alright :)

i too like the turns fast like it is, allowing 500 turns would be cool, but if you dont have time just suck up those lost turns.  i have had to do that servral times but hell i love the turns

500 turn max would be insane! You\'d end up going on like 250 turn attack runs.... leave it as it is.

300 is already a good number because in archmage u take about 16-17 hours to max out your turns whereas here u take 15 hours to do so, so its a good rough estimate. i personally think 350 or 400 turns max is nice tho

Uhm, ok ok. Now that the game is more shaped, the turns are ok. But in the beggining... it was messy!



However, with so many turns, you can\'t sleep well at any time :PPPPPPp



I just hope that the counters thingie becomes as it has to become, like official am(It never was official though).



ALSO, this Last attacks of the Server link and engine... has to be excluded. It is really annoying to get attacks while you are attacking. I personally don\'t use it as I find it pathetically dishonorable.

I like the last attack of the server.



Seperates the men from the boys.



People that don\'t like it are the obvious rank whores.  Those who power waaaaay down to find weak mages they can hit for land, then power up with every last turn they get to try and hide up top.





We all have access to it, so it is fair.  And this way, y\'all need to play a well-rounded game.  IE. know how to defend as well as attack, and learn how to attack people of equal power.  You know... learn how to stack and such.

magewar.com had lots of servers ranging from 5 - 15 minutes per turn.  Also, 200 was the max turn limit and that seemed to work the best for two reasons.  



First, at 1 turn per 5 minutes, it would take a little over 16 hours to get your turns filled up and when they did you didnt have so many turns to work with.  With 300 turns stored up, that leaves so many chances to attack and cast spells.  If a guild had 2 or 3 fully researched mages with 300 turns then it would not matter if an enemy had barriers or not.  Eventually one of the spells will get through.  With 200, you have to spend your turns carefully and between mp charging and whatever else you do, if you dont do things right then you wasted your turns.  It is what makes the game challenging.  



Second of all, 1 turn every three minutes makes it a little unfair for people who have a whole lot of time to play.  At 1 turn per 5 minutes someone can play for just a few minutes a day and still be pretty good, and that is the whole theory of turn based games.  They are not suppossed to be like everquest where the people who play continuosly all the time have the advantage.



Personally I would really like it changed to 5 min and if it is not, the next server that comes up should be 1 turn per 10 min.  It would be stupid to have a 3 and a 5 minute thing because then it is still basically the same thing.  There is no need for a fast server and a superfast server.

I think it is perfect the way it is. it isnt too slow. It allows attack runs and mp recharges every day. Any less from the turn capacity the game would be boreing, any more than what it is there would be like 200+ turn attack runs, which i have no complaints if you change the turn capacity higher  :shop:  OHHHH YEAAAAA!!!

That is exactly my point.  With so many turns, it does not take any real skill to do what you need to do.  



When I was on a 1 turn per 10 min server, I was a white mage.  Every day I had to go on my attack run and then summon lots of dominions and cast gate a few times to get some unis and AA for my defense against counters.  Then the next day I would have to disband some dominoins to get my stack back in order and to allow me to not be in negative MP so that I can MP charge to get ready for my defense the next night.  Then I would go on a few more attacks and if I played my cards right have just enough turns and mp to resummon my dominions and other units for my defense, not to mention have enough mp left for my defensive spell assignment.  That took a lot of skill.  With so many turns, a monkey can power up very effectively.
